Singer Jang Yun-jeong has opened up about ongoing health issues during a recent appearance on a JTBC variety program, shedding light on the physical and emotional challenges she has faced over the past several months, as concerns from her husband, broadcaster Do Kyung-wan, were also highlighted throughout the episode.
During the November 4 broadcast of JTBC's 'Living Openly, Two Households', the domestic lives of celebrity couples Jang Yun-jeong and Do Kyung-wan, along with Kim So-hyun and Son Jun-ho, were featured, with particular attention drawn to Jang's current health condition, which has reportedly affected her daily life and emotional well-being.
Do Kyung-wan expressed concern over his wife's deteriorating health, noting that her usual responsive demeanor had changed significantly, likening her current state to a motionless acorn jelly, and revealed that she has been unwell throughout the year and continues to suffer from persistent symptoms without a clear medical diagnosis.
Jang Yun-jeong disclosed that she has been experiencing sudden skin rashes for nearly ten months, with no definitive cause identified, adding that the prolonged illness has left her emotionally drained and visibly expressionless, impacting both her personal and professional life.
In response to his wife's condition, Do Kyung-wan shared that he has consciously altered his approach in their relationship, recognizing not only her physical exhaustion but also the psychological toll, expressing a deeper sense of empathy and affection, admitting that he now views her with a sense of tenderness and compassion due to her struggles.
